Growing up, our home was modest, but I saw my mother carefully curating our space with her artists nature and keen eye for color. She creatively captured the loveliest feelings to design living spaces that you wanted to be in. That foundation showed me the value of feeling a sense of self inside the walls of your own home.
My Story

Throughout my career, which began unofficially in California in 1999, I've learned how to create spaces that are beautiful by definition. In my work as a professional home stager, I honed my craft further. But something was missing. My soul came alive in learning the personalities that inhabit the living room, the kitchen, entryway. I felt a stir to create joy; not just for faceless strangers, but for families that I grew to learn and know.
What is now known as Lisa Sampson Design officially launched in 2004, when I moved to Charlotte. The business is the unique melding of my passions - accessibility of design, foundational relationships, and beautifully curated spaces. 1,000 square feet or 10,000 square feet, each space holds the potential to be a showcase of the life that lives inside it. I believe that we are an extension of our Creator, and it's a privilege that He has given me a gift to create and make beautiful things.
